Excellent read. One thing that I don’t quite get though is how the “vertical load” is calculated. I can see why the load doubles when weight bearing on a single leg but I’m not getting where the 250% vertical load comes from. Can you explain the formula in more detail?
Hi Doug- glad you like RW. Vertical ground reaction forces of 250% are not a formula, but the result of real data that’s being measured. Objects accelerate at 9.8m/s sq…… it’s just good ol physics at work
